Nancy’s Bar, Ardara, supporting Tony Quinn’s Charity Cycle
Nancy's Bar is a beautiful little pub serving fabulous Guinness and great food in the picturesque town of Ardara. Family run for generations and packed full of many small rooms filled with antiques, crockery and Toby jugs, it's a spot you will fall in love with straight away!
This summer, Nancy's Bar, along with a dozen other wonderful pubs, hotels and b&bs all along Irelands West Coast, are kindly supporting Tony Quinn in his Solo Charity Cycle of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Whether it's giving him a bed for the night, a meal, or in some cases both, we hope that this cycle will help to highlight some of the wonderful places to eat, drink and stay along the Wild Atlantic Way
Tony hails from Kildare, but love has lead him to Ardara, and the Donegal hills have proven a good training ground a cycle that is to be a testing yet exciting challenge. Already there has been over €1,700 raised for The Irish Heart Foundation and The Irish Cancer Society, and we hope to raise a lot more!
The cycle begins in Kinsale on 25th August and finishes in Derry on 4th September, will a Welcome Home Celebration in Nancy's bar on Saturday 6th September.
Find out more about the cycle, about the great pubs and hotels that are providing accommodation and meals, and about the worthwhile charities we are fundraising for on Tonys Charity Cycle Quinn on Facebook, or at "Tonys charity cycle" page on mychatity.ie
We hope to see you cheering Tony on next month!
