The drinks and hospitality industry is an essential part of the Irish economy. Drinks and hospitality businesses employ 7.6% of all Irish workers in 175,000 jobs. Let your local representative know how important the industry is by supporting a reduction in excise tax.

For example, Ireland’s excise tax on a pint of beer is currently 1,000% higher than in Germany despite the fact that consumption levels in Ireland and Germany are nearly identical, according to WHO figures.
